The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Groton, Connecticut, to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides training, assistance, advocacy, medication administration, documentation, safety support, transportation, meal preparation, and life-skills mentoring, with a Sunday–Tuesday and Friday–Saturday schedule. A high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, English communication ability, and the ability to mentor participants are required; prior experience with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred.
