The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Norwich, Connecticut, to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community-integration, and behavior-management support; participates in individualized support planning; administers prescribed medications; completes documentation; provides first aid and CPR; assists with transportation and meal preparation; and mentors participants in life skills. The position works Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, and offers health, dental, life insurance, paid time off, and a starting hourly rate of $20.20.
