The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Pomfret, Connecticut, to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community integration, behavior management, medication administration, documentation, safety, transportation, and meal preparation support. It requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, English communication skills, and the ability to mentor participants; prior experience with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred. The position offers health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid vacation and sick leave, and a starting hourly rate of $20.20.
