Description
The In-Home Support Specialist provides in-home support to people with developmental and physical disabilities, including meal preparation, personal care, community outings, transportation, and support for therapeutic and behavioral plans. The role requires a valid driver’s license, privately owned vehicle, evidence of insurance, a high school diploma or GED, basic computer aptitude, and English communication skills; prior experience with people with disabilities is preferred. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Norwich, Connecticut, and includes paid training, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
