Description
ACLD is hiring a Direct Support Professional - Residential to support adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The role helps residents achieve personal goals, provides structure and emotional support, assists with behavioral issues and personal hygiene, completes documentation, and transports participants to medical appointments and recreational activities. The position requires a clean, valid New York State driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, AMAP and SCIP certifications, and offers training for entry-level candidates; prior direct-care experience is preferred. The schedule is Sunday and Monday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., and Tuesday and Saturday from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
