The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Groton, Connecticut, to provide personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community-integration, and behavior-management support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes participating in individualized support plans, administering prescribed medications, completing documentation, providing first aid and CPR, transporting participants, preparing meals, and mentoring life skills. The schedule is Friday through Sunday from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a starting hourly rate of $20.20 and benefits including health, dental, and life insurance.
