The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Brooklyn, Connecticut, to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community-integration, and behavior-management support; participates in individualized support plans; administers prescribed medications; completes documentation; provides first aid and CPR; assists with transportation and meal preparation; and mentors participants in life skills. The schedule is Saturday through Monday from 10:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., with a starting hourly rate of $20.20 and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.
