Catholic Charities of Long Island is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered care to developmentally disabled adults in a residential group home in Manhasset, New York. Responsibilities include transporting and safeguarding residents, coaching skills development, administering medications, providing personal care, performing household maintenance, and preparing meals. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid New York State driver’s license, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 250 pounds. Evening, weekend, and on-call opportunities are available, with a base pay of $21 per hour and an additional $1.00 per hour weekend differential.
