Description
Progressive Option Support Services is hiring a part-time Home-Based Respite Caregiver to provide direct care and caregiver relief for families of children with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. The role includes developing socialization, play, leisure, and activities-of-daily-living skills; providing resources and support-system development; documenting services; and attending required training, respite, and supervision meetings. The position requires a high school diploma, a driver's license with a clean abstract, at least six months of experience working with children with developmental disabilities, and willingness to travel within a 10–15-mile radius. Flexible weeknight, weekend, or daytime schedules are available, and pay is $22–$25 per hour.
