Description
The Directional Drill Operator operates horizontal directional drilling equipment to install underground fiber optic conduit and telecommunications infrastructure. The role includes reading construction prints and bore plans, locating utilities, monitoring drill paths, inspecting and maintaining equipment, coordinating with crew members, maintaining safety and production records, and restoring job sites. It is a field-based position requiring at least two years of directional drilling experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
