Description

KBRA's Regulatory and Government Affairs team is seeking a highly motivated Director to support the firm’s engagement with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders. This role involves monitoring regulatory and legislative developments, conducting policy research and analysis, preparing materials for senior leadership, and supporting engagement with regulators and industry groups. The Director will serve as KBRA’s primary representative based in Washington, D.C., expanding the firm’s presence within the DC policy and regulatory community.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 6-8 years of experience in financial regulation, government affairs, public policy, legislative affairs, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong understanding of financial regulatory and legislative processes.
Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex policy issues clearly and accurately.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced professional environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with legislative tracking tools, regulatory databases, or financial market research platforms is a plus.
Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and productivity enhancement is a plus.
