Director, Accounting at Maverick Payments

Maverick Payments is hiring a Director of Accounting to lead accounting operations, monthly and year-end close, general ledger, accounts payable, financial reporting, internal controls, and the annual audit. The role manages and develops accounting staff, partners with finance and executive leadership, and may support financial systems and special projects. It requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, and 3+ years managing accounting teams and close processes. The position is on-site in the Woodlands, Texas, or Calabasas corporate offices and offers a $175,000–$200,000 pay range plus health, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
