Description

Lenovo is hiring a Director, AI Engineering to lead the Core Intelligence organization for its hybrid AI platform, including agentic orchestration, reasoning, RAG, memory, perception, recommendation systems, and model optimization. Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 12+ years of engineering experience
At least 5 years leading teams in AI/ML systems, agent platforms, search, recommendation, or applied ML infrastructure
Hands-on experience with orchestration frameworks, agentic systems, LLM/SLM pipelines, RAG systems, embeddings, and memory architectures
Experience building systems that run across device and cloud in hybrid or edge environments
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to lead senior individual contributors, set technical direction, and deliver complex AI systems at scale
Strong collaboration across platform, cloud engineering, UX/experience engineering, and SRE organizations
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and shape engineering culture for a new AI platform
Ability to travel globally 25%
