Description
The Director of AI Software Engineering will lead GE Vernova’s AI software engineering group, managing full-time employees and contractors while delivering AI applications and solutions from concept through production. The role focuses on cloud-based agentic AI delivery, technology and architecture strategy, engineering leadership, Lean/Agile practices, compliance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement. It requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM field, at least 15 years of software engineering and AI/ML experience, including 8 years in a technical engineering, systems architecture, or principal-level role, plus 8 years leading software engineering organizations.
