BlackRock is hiring a senior AI/ML engineering leader to provide technical leadership, architectural direction, and design decisions across multidisciplinary teams. The role focuses on building and operating production AI/ML systems, reusable platforms, APIs, data pipelines, distributed systems, and observability; optimizing systems for latency, throughput, reliability, security, and cost; and partnering with business, engineering, data, risk, and control teams. Candidates need 12+ years of software engineering experience, 6+ years in production AI/ML or model-driven applications, strong Python and SQL skills, and experience with containerization, orchestration, and complex technical solutions.
