J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. is seeking a Director, Automation Engineering - Program Execution to create and execute an enterprise automation project portfolio across its manufacturing business units and facilities. The role leads Automation Program Leads and Engineers, collaborates with business units and corporate functions to design, build, install, test, and launch automated equipment, evaluates production processes, qualifies vendors, manages acquisition through ramp-up, and drives improvements in safety, quality, productivity, cost, labor, and space efficiency. The position requires a mechanical or electrical engineering bachelor's degree, automation and controls experience, programming knowledge, manufacturing experience, and extensive travel of 75% or more.
