Description

BAO Consulting Group is hiring a Director, Business Transformation to lead complex finance transformation engagements for middle-market and PE-backed organizations. The role combines client-facing engagement leadership, ERP and systems strategy, FP&A and performance visibility, process automation, data analytics, and financial technology consulting with portfolio management, P&L accountability, practice development, business development, and team leadership. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 10 years of progressive experience, hands-on ERP and analytics experience, and strong executive advisory and leadership skills.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Information Systems, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting, advisory, corporate FP&A, finance transformation, or business operations
Experience leading complex finance transformation programs across ERP strategy, systems implementation, FP&A enablement, or business process redesign
Hands-on experience with ERP systems in the BAO middle-market stack
Proficiency with data visualization tools and working fluency in SQL, Alteryx, Python, or another analytics language
Working knowledge of automation tools and frameworks applied within finance functions
Ability to manage multiple large engagements with full P&L accountability
Ability to advise and influence executive stakeholders, including CFOs, CIOs, and Controllers
Strong business development track record with a network in the middle-market, private equity, or CFO advisory space
Preferred Qualifications: Master's or MBA
CPA, MBA, PMP, or systems certifications
Direct experience designing and deploying automation at scale within a finance function
Big 4 Manager or Senior Manager background with a successful transition to advisory or transformation consulting
Experience supporting PE-backed companies or private equity sponsors through systems maturity, carve-outs, integrations, or pre-exit transformation
Familiarity with Agile delivery, PMO best practices, and digital enablement roadmapping
Experience with cross-border systems, multi-entity consolidations, and international operations
