Netflix is hiring a Business and Legal Affairs Executive to lead the business and legal affairs function for its Japan content initiative, which licenses and commissions Japanese films and series. The role will advise Japanese content executives, structure and negotiate content deals, draft contracts, support production, manage music business affairs and clearance, and lead a team of lawyers and non-lawyers. It is a Tokyo-based leadership position requiring at least seven years of film or television contract experience, Japanese and English fluency, team-management experience, and strong business and legal advisory capabilities.
