The Director, Business Development at Indero will lead sales and marketing efforts for the CRO Business Unit, focusing on expanding market share through strategic account management and new business acquisition. This role involves defining and executing revenue-growth strategies, promoting the company's brand at industry events, and collaborating with senior management to drive growth. The director will initially concentrate on sales activities across Europe and the Middle East.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Five (5) years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and/or contract research organization (CRO) industry
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree is an asset
Business management degree or project management certification MBA (an asset)
Confident, innovative, insightful, client and business focused service oriented professional with scientific knowledge of clinical drug and device research
Outstanding organizational skills
Requires ability to partner closely with business operations
Must be professional at all times with an ability to manage conflict and maintain confidentiality
Strong skills in leadership, interpersonal communication, motivation of staff and team-building
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-moving environment, while working calmly and thoughtfully towards solutions

Outstanding oral and written communication skills
