Description
The Case Management Department Manager leads hospital case management operations, utilization management, transition management, care coordination, physician education, compliance, staffing, performance improvement, and budget oversight. The role oversees medical necessity reviews, payer disputes, patient throughput, CMS and Joint Commission requirements, and staff competency, while requiring a nursing or health-related bachelor’s degree, an active RN or LCSW/LMSW license, and three to five years of acute hospital case management leadership experience.
