Description
The Director Community Development Underwriting leads a team of commercial underwriters and oversees the full lifecycle of community development lending originations, including complex transaction analysis, credit risk assessment, loan structuring, policy exceptions, and underwriting quality. The role also guides restructuring and workout analysis for existing borrowers, manages underwriting workflows and data integrity, develops and updates underwriting guidelines, and supports portfolio and special assets risk decisions. The position requires advanced commercial and community development lending experience, leadership experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with loan origination systems; it does not offer visa sponsorship.
