Description

The Director of Community & Economic Development leads regional economic and community development initiatives for the Green River Area Development District across seven counties. The role partners with local governments, businesses, nonprofits, educational institutions, and state and federal agencies; supports recruitment, infrastructure, housing, workforce, and quality-of-life projects; develops strategic plans and feasibility studies; identifies and manages federal, state, foundation, and other funding opportunities; and coordinates regional planning, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and staff development. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, progressive experience in related fields, strong grant and project-management skills, and regular travel throughout the service area.
