Colliers is hiring a Director, Data Engineering in a hybrid Toronto, Ontario role. The position leads enterprise data engineering strategy and a team of managers and data engineers; oversees cloud-based data platforms, microservices, data mesh and fabric capabilities, AI/ML and GenAI pipelines, document extraction, and business intelligence solutions; establishes DataOps, SDLC, CI/CD, governance, security, documentation, and reliability practices; and partners with architecture, product, vendors, and technology stakeholders. The role requires a degree or diploma in a relevant technical discipline, 8–10 years of progressive experience, strong Google Cloud Platform data engineering expertise, modern engineering and DevOps skills, BI/AI knowledge, and exceptional leadership and communication.
