Description
Mastercard is hiring a Director, Data Engineering to lead strategic data engineering initiatives for its enterprise data ecosystem. The role owns the architecture and delivery of large-scale data warehouse, data lakehouse, and data platform solutions; drives cloud modernisation, distributed processing, DataOps, governance, observability, and platform reliability; and leads high-performing engineering teams while managing executive stakeholders. The position requires 15+ years of enterprise data engineering experience, 7+ years of engineering leadership experience, and expertise in technologies including Apache Kafka, Spark, AWS, Airflow, and SQL.
