BlackRock is hiring a Director, Data Stewardship to lead enterprise-wide data stewardship across Technology & Operations. The role owns strategic data domains, partners with business, product, engineering, and senior leaders, and drives governance, metadata, lineage, data product standards, quality, risk management, discoverability, reuse, and AI-ready data practices. The position requires experience leading enterprise-scale data governance and stewardship programs, implementing metadata and data product practices, and applying strong technical knowledge of enterprise data platforms, architectures, and SQL-based analysis. The role follows BlackRock’s hybrid model, requiring employees to work at least four days in the office per week.
