Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring a Director of Design Engineering in Bangalore, India, to lead the Design and Verification organization for advanced silicon products in data center and AI infrastructure. The role oversees architecture, RTL design, verification, silicon bring-up, production release, project execution, and the development of multidisciplinary engineering teams, with responsibilities spanning PCIe, CXL, SAS, NVMe, and high-speed connectivity technologies. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, at least 20 years of semiconductor experience, significant design and verification leadership experience, and a proven record delivering complex ASIC/SoC products from architecture through volume production.
