Thea Energy is hiring a Director - Diagnostics to lead the strategy, design, implementation, and operation of plasma diagnostic suites for its Eos device and future fusion power plants. The role will build and lead a multidisciplinary team of physicists and engineers, manage budgets and vendors, oversee diagnostic system integration, collaborate with software and AI teams, and coordinate research partnerships. The position requires a Ph.D. in a relevant technical field and at least 8 years of hands-on experience with advanced plasma diagnostics on magnetic confinement fusion devices, with a stated salary range of $160,000-$240,000 and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
