Chalhoub Group is hiring a Software Engineering Director to lead its software engineering organization across ecommerce, mobile, APIs, integrations, cloud, reliability, security, and quality engineering. The role sets multi-year platform roadmaps, governs API-first and cloud-native engineering practices, leads engineering excellence and delivery governance, manages budgets and vendors, develops engineering leadership, and establishes AI governance and responsible AI adoption standards. Candidates need at least 15 years of software engineering experience, including senior leadership in large multi-team organizations, plus expertise in cloud-native development, distributed systems, secure coding, test automation, CI/CD, observability, and engineering organization strategy.
