Description
The Engineering Director will direct the engineering and maintenance operations of a large, luxury hotel or resort, ensuring guest and team safety, compliance, and service quality. The role plans and assigns maintenance work, develops and coaches maintenance and engineering staff, coordinates with hotel departments, manages repairs and supplies, and may oversee security, subordinate managers, and supervisors. Required qualifications include some college or advanced vocational training, four years of general building maintenance or construction experience, expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields, and relevant EPA, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry certifications or licenses.
