Description
AstraZeneca is hiring a Director – Enterprise Data Engineering to establish and scale an enterprise data engineering capability across the company. The role owns the end-to-end strategy, architecture, technology standards, automation, governance, quality, performance, security, compliance, and adoption of data engineering services, while leading a focused team of specialists. It requires extensive enterprise data engineering leadership experience, hands-on expertise across acquisition, storage, ingestion, transformation, orchestration, CI/CD, and containerization, and familiarity with Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT, DataOps.live, SnowPark, Apache Iceberg, Snowflake Horizon, and related technologies. The position requires at least three days per week in the office and is closed as of 15-Oct-2026.
