Director, General Ledger at MP Materials

MP Materials is hiring a Director, General Ledger Accounting to lead the company's general ledger accounting function and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. The role manages the general ledger team, approves journal entries and reconciliations, supports SEC and external reporting, maintains SOX and audit controls, and leads ERP and finance transformation initiatives. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, an active CPA license, at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience including 5 years in a public company environment, and experience with U.S. GAAP, financial close, reconciliations, internal controls, audits, and ERP systems.
