Description
The Director, Graduate Medical Education (GME) provides strategic and operational leadership for the organization’s residency and fellowship programs across Mercy Anderson Hospital, Mercy Fairfield Hospital, and The Jewish Hospital. The role oversees GME strategy, accreditation compliance and readiness, program performance, financial and operational management, workforce planning, site development, academic partnerships, and the development of GME leadership. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, five years of progressively responsible GME or academic medicine experience, and three years of leadership experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
