Description
Thea Energy is hiring a Director - HTS Magnet Engineering to lead the strategy, roadmap, design, build, testing, manufacturing, and scaling of high-temperature superconducting magnets for its Eos and Helios planar-coil stellarator systems. The role manages engineering managers and cross-functional teams, oversees multiphysics analysis and data infrastructure, owns vendor and supply-chain relationships, directs tooling and test investments, and represents magnet engineering to executives, investors, partners, and the fusion community. The position requires at least 10 years of relevant engineering experience, strong CAD and multiphysics simulation skills, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field; compensation is $215,000-$250,000 with medical, dental, and vision benefits.
