The University of Alabama is hiring a Director of Information Security Operations in Tuscaloosa to lead the university’s information security operations program. The role oversees detection, response, investigation, remediation, data loss prevention, anti-malware, web security, and security operations strategy; directs the security operations team and Security Operations Center; advises leadership; and serves as incident commander for low- and medium-severity incidents. The position is full-time, eligible for hybrid work, and pays $101,900–$142,700 annually.
