Description
Temple University is hiring a Director, Maintenance and Operations to lead the Facilities Management function for its Health Sciences Center. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Facilities, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Utilities, the Director oversees regulatory compliance, life-safety management, building and utility systems, mechanical and building trades, preventive maintenance, safety programs, vendor and contractor relationships, and coordination with hospital and university personnel. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent, at least eight years of experience in a similar healthcare environment, and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards; a Professional Engineer license is preferred. The salary range is $145,000 to $150,000, with medical, dental, vision, paid time off, tuition remission, and a retirement plan.
