Director, Manufacturing at Avid Bioservices

Avid Bioservices is hiring a Director of Manufacturing to lead GMP manufacturing operations across upstream, downstream, formulations, support, and scheduling functions. The role oversees equipment, facilities, personnel, budgets, scheduling, quality, safety, continuous improvement, and cross-functional coordination, while mentoring functional-area managers and reporting to the executive team. Candidates need a science or engineering bachelor’s degree with 10 years of GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, or a science or engineering master’s or doctorate with 6–8 years of experience, plus 7–15 years leading teams and managing operational budgets. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime, holidays, and weekends, and offers a base salary of $184,800–$231,000 annually plus bonuses and health, dental, and vision benefits.
