CSMART is hiring an experienced cruise-ship Captain to serve as Director, Maritime Standards – Nautical. The role leads the Fleet Captain program, coordinates shipboard reviews and CSMART assignments, manages travel budgets, evaluates training application, identifies operational learning gaps, and translates fleet experience into recommendations for courses, simulator scenarios, and maritime standards. The position requires at least three years of cruise-ship Captain experience, Carnival Corporation or cruise-brand experience, a bachelor’s degree in Marine Operations or a relevant discipline, a valid Master STCW Certificate of Competency, international travel and shipboard work, and flexibility to work occasionally outside normal business hours.
