Description
Thea Energy is hiring a Director - Mechanical Engineering to own the mechanical design, development, analysis, verification, manufacturing, commissioning, and operation of primary and secondary components and subsystems for its integrated stellarator fusion systems. The role leads system-level trades, interface controls, multidisciplinary engineering teams, risk mitigation, and technical decision-making across mechanical, structural, thermal, vacuum, cryogenic, nuclear, and manufacturing domains. Candidates should have at least 15 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency with CAD, FEA, and PLM tools.
