Director, Medical Training at AstraZeneca

The Director Medical Training will own the end-to-end clinical learning strategy and execution for Medical HQ and field teams across BBU’s full US portfolio. The role develops competency-based curricula, launch and lifecycle readiness programs, onboarding, field coaching, compliance certification, learning governance, and measurement systems; partners with Medical, Scientific Communications, Regulatory, Compliance, and other functions; and manages budgets, vendors, technology partners, and change initiatives. The position reports to the Head of Medical Excellence and requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least seven years of experience in Medical Affairs, field medical, medical education, clinical learning, scientific training, or learning and development.
