KOHO is hiring a Director of Compliance to lead four interconnected compliance pillars: the Financial Crime Office, Regulatory Relations, Complaints Management, and Second-Line Compliance Testing. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, the role oversees AML/ATF and sanctions programs, regulatory examinations and submissions, customer complaints, independent compliance testing, team leadership, industry engagement, and the application of AI, machine learning, RPA, and advanced analytics. The position requires at least 10 years of relevant financial-services experience, knowledge of Canadian consumer protection, AML, retail banking or payments, and privacy legislation, and offers a budgeted salary of $190,000–$230,000 CAD per year in a remote-first setup.
