Description

Airwallex is hiring a Director of AI Analytics & CEO Office to serve as a strategic data advisor to the CEO, CFO, and regional business leads. The role owns global forecasting, causal inference, macroeconomic analysis, and the AI strategy for generative AI and machine learning, while leading a team of data scientists and engineers. It requires 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or quantitative strategy, including at least 5 years managing high-performing technical teams, along with expertise in forecasting, causal inference, SQL, Python or R, and modern data-stack tools.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years in data analytics, data science, or quantitative strategy, including at least 5 years managing high-performing technical teams
Experience working directly with C-suite or VP-level executive leadership to influence corporate strategy using data
Hands-on experience building and deploying advanced forecasting, causal inference, or machine learning models in production
Experience productionizing Generative AI applications or agentic workflows to automate business intelligence and reporting
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s or advanced degree in a highly quantitative discipline
Experience in fintech, global payments, or high-growth B2B SaaS environments
Experience operating within a CEO Office or corporate strategy function
Familiarity with global macroeconomic indicators and their impact on cross-border transactional data
