Google Cloud is hiring a full-time engineering leadership role responsible for leading a team of engineers, maintaining service uptime, managing global on-call rotations, designing scalable and efficient software, developing technical roadmaps, guiding system architecture, overseeing cross-team projects, and mentoring engineers. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant computer or software engineering field and 6–8 years of progressive experience in software development, distributed systems, architecture, team management, or related engineering occupations. The US base salary range is $255,700–$300,000 plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits, with a hybrid schedule possible.
