Description
TetraScience is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead their Lakehouse Data Products Platform team. This role involves owning the architecture, driving technical and operational strategy, developing internal tools, and managing a team of 8+ engineers specializing in Data Platforms and Infrastructure engineering. The director will focus on evolving the Lakehouse Platform foundation, designing durable architectures, collaborating with other teams, executing technical priorities, leading incident response, making build-vs-buy decisions, establishing engineering standards, coaching engineers, hiring and developing talent, and championing AI-assisted development practices.
