The Director of Facilities at Blue Current leads the overall management of facilities, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure reliability, compliance, and scalability for battery development, pilot manufacturing, and commercial production. This role involves overseeing manufacturing suites, dry rooms, testing labs, and site infrastructure, managing utility systems like HVAC and nitrogen, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. The director ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements and supports regulatory inspections, manages capital projects for expansion, optimizes vendor relationships, and fosters cross-functional partnerships to achieve operational excellence.
