Description

The Director of Financial Discipleship at MB Foundation will lead initiatives in biblical stewardship, support churches and pastors, and promote generosity within the MB family. This role involves developing materials, presenting on financial discipleship, overseeing specific funds and initiatives like the Leadership Generation Fund and THRIVE, and building relationships with pastors and churches. The Director will also work to expand the 'Giving Meaning to Money' culture and ensure MB Foundation's programs align with biblical stewardship principles, reporting directly to the CEO.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, Graduate level degree preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: Mid-level experience
Preferred Qualifications: A heart for the church and demonstrated leadership in the local church or other MB ministry.
Experience with creating, preparing and delivering materials, and presentations.
Lead by example through sowing faithfully and regularly, continuing to grow personally as a generous steward.
A self-starter with sound judgement and good decision-making skills, who is a problem solver yet action-oriented and results-focused.
Must have excellent problem-solving & organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Should have strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrate ability to prioritize conflicting needs while handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and following through on projects to a successful completion.
Willingness to work extra hours when needed to complete assignments, which at times could require work before or after office hours or on the weekends.
Ability to handle sensitive information and always maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel helpful.
A Christian faith commitment and loyalty to the mission of and ministries supported by the United States Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. Must be able to affirm the USMB Confession of Faith and have a growing commitment to Biblical stewardship.
