Description
The Director of Procurement will lead strategic sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and procurement strategy for high-value substation equipment and materials across utility-scale electrical, transmission and distribution, and photovoltaic projects. The role manages transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, steel, bus, protection and control equipment, supplier relationships, pricing, contracts, long-lead procurement, expediting, schedules, and supplier performance, while partnering with engineering, project management, construction, and finance teams. The position requires at least eight years of procurement experience, including significant substation or transmission and distribution project experience, along with strong knowledge of substation equipment, suppliers, and industry standards.
