Description
The Director of Procurement will lead strategic sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and procurement controls for high-value substation and transmission-and-distribution equipment and services. The role manages transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, steel, bus, protection and control equipment, supplier relationships, pricing, delivery schedules, long-lead procurement, expediting, and performance, while partnering with engineering, project management, construction, and finance teams. It requires at least eight years of procurement experience, including significant substation or T&D project experience, along with strong negotiation, analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
