The Director of Safety Operations leads Bay Area Hospital's enterprise safety programs, encompassing Security Services, Emergency Preparedness, Environment of Care, Workplace Violence Prevention, Occupational Health, and Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) programs. The director develops and executes a comprehensive safety strategy to protect patients, visitors, medical staff, employees, volunteers, and hospital assets, fostering a culture of safety, preparedness, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards like Joint Commission, CMS, and OSHA, and collaborating across departments to enhance organizational resilience and emergency preparedness.
