Description

IMAX is looking for a Director of Sales for North America to lead the growth of their IMAX Enhanced for Live propositions. This role involves shaping market presence, forging partnerships with distributors and partners, and engaging with sponsors to finance deals. The director will focus on delivering annual revenue targets, driving revenue growth, enabling distributor deals, presenting value to senior decision-makers, initiating ROI modeling, and leading complex deal cycles.

Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of senior sales experience in selling partnerships to content distributors and partners, as well as sponsors
Proven success managing end-to-end sales cycles (from sourcing and qualification to negotiation and closing)
Preferred Qualifications: Charismatic deal closer
A relationship-driven dealmaker with a proven, active Rolodex across sports and live distributors, content partners and sponsors
Experienced in selling complex value-driven partnership propositions
Hands-on self-starter with a start-up mentality — entrepreneurial, resourceful, and hands-on
Strong commercial acumen and forecasting discipline
