Description
Arm is hiring a Director of Software Engineering to lead a globally distributed team of 60+ engineers across systems software, kernel, firmware, power, drivers, userspace, and system-modelling tools. The role sets technical direction, aligns priorities across kernel, drivers, and userspace teams, collaborates with architecture, hardware, and product groups, develops roadmaps, and builds senior technical leadership. Candidates should have large-scale distributed software engineering leadership experience, hands-on systems software expertise, and a record of improving performance, power, or system behaviour in production. The role is hybrid, with two days per week in Arm’s Cambridge office, and offers progression toward Senior Director.
